Remembering Denji alone is not enough once Public Safety Division 4 fills the screen. Here is a quick map of Pochita, Makima, Aki, Power, and Himeno, numbered #1–#6 to match their official character art.
#1 Denji | Once a Devil Hunter working to repay a debt, he makes a pact with Pochita and becomes Chainsaw Man. He is the center of this team, though hardly its model rule-follower.
#2 Pochita | The Chainsaw Devil. After contracting with Denji, he becomes Denji's heart. Their bond starts the story.
#3 Makima | A Devil Hunter of Public Safety Special Division 4 directly under the Chief Cabinet Secretary. She draws Denji into Public Safety's world.
#4 Aki Hayakawa | A Division 4 Devil Hunter and Denji's senior. His caution plays against his junior's impulses.
#5 Power | A Blood Fiend serving in Division 4. Sharing an affiliation with Denji and Aki does not mean sharing their temperament.
#6 Himeno | Another Division 4 member and Aki's buddy. She gives Aki a partnership beyond his role as Denji's senior.
