[Reading the decline]
Money Today cited higher U.S. Treasury yields and concerns about data-center project delays among the market's headwinds. Foreign investors reportedly sold a net roughly KRW 3.24 trillion in KOSPI stocks, and institutions about KRW 1.02 trillion. Falls of around 5% in Samsung Electronics and SK hynix weighed on the large-cap index.
The KOSDAQ nevertheless closed 0.25% higher. That does not prove every smaller stock rose or establish a single cause for the divergence. Keep the index and individual-company moves separate. Not investment advice.
