ReactionKorea processes personal data as described below to manage accounts, provide community and game services, and operate the site reliably.

1. Information and purposes

  • Registration and account management: We process usernames, nicknames, email addresses, and password hashes for identification, sign-in, email verification, and password resets.
  • Optional information: Uploaded profile pictures are used to display user profiles.
  • Service use: Posts, comments, attached images, private messages, subscriptions, and voting records support their respective features. Guest names and password hashes are used to verify, edit, and delete guest submissions.
  • Access records: IP addresses, access times, browser information, requested paths, and referral information are used for visitor statistics, prevention of duplicate views and votes, and detection of abuse.

Information is collected from user input and service use, including registration and posting. Public posts, comments, and author names may be visible to other visitors. Do not post other people's personal information.

2. Retention and deletion

Account information is generally retained until account deletion is processed. Posts, comments, and private messages are managed separately and may not all be deleted automatically. Remove submissions you want deleted before closing your account, or contact the operator.

Access and usage records are retained as needed for operation, statistics, and abuse detection. Personal data is deleted when its purpose is fulfilled or retention is no longer needed, except where law or an ongoing dispute requires retention. Electronic files are deleted using methods that make recovery difficult.

Your manual language choice is stored in a cookie for one year and takes priority over the IP country. Clearing cookies or using another browser resets this preference.
